Thank you kindly for the notification and the continuted support from Smashwords on behalf on Indie Authors. I had previously removed my book from Smashwords because I care if it affects other authors even if we have no relationship. I'm curious as to the nature of the direct attack of Erotica writers by singling out the words Rape, Incest, and Bestiality. I was only slightly offended by the request to remove my personal work, but quite irate at the huge possibilty that this is only the beginning as a side door way of attacking "Inspirational" writers as well. Those three subjects are covered in major points in the best selling book in history. The Bible. Also, any works in the self help section related to the subjects would be in peril since the banks would have no way to control how the work would be percieved by anyone. It could be misconscrued as a manual to break down an abused person or how to spot one. The "good Book" could be use for Satanist or other non-beleiver's as a guide to recreate past no-no's just to offend others if they so choose. Even if they did, no one could force them to read it. The request in is direct conflict with every writer's constitional rights and I hope Smashwords prevails. I'm uncomfortable with Paypal accepting transactions for sex site memberships but having a problem with Erotic or Hardcore Writers. Almost every single one that was name currently makes transactions for sex toys, site memeberships, porn (both live and filmed), and live entertainment. This didn't feel like a matter of hypocrisy for me personally, it's a matter of blatant hypocrisy.
Thanks,
Inakat
